Dayohessarah (Trout) Lake Outpost

Trout Lake, 18 miles (10 minutes) northeast of our airbase, is 8 miles long x 3 miles wide, rocky and 150 ft deep. This is a trophy lake with possession limits of 1 fish under 16″ and 1 over 16″. We cannot stress strongly enough the quality of this Lake Trout fishery – we have had trout up to 35lbs caught in these waters. Parties have compared this lake in quality to Arctic Circle fishing!

The Log cabin, 24 x 30ft was completely renovated to new condition. It has 2 bedrooms with 8 built in bunks and foam mattresses plus a kitchen. There are gas powered generator for electric lights, a wood burning air tight for heat, hot and cold running water,  a full size propane cookstove with oven and a full size propane refrigerator with top freezer. All cooking utensils and dishes are supplied.

14ft aluminum boats with 9.9 horse power, 4 stroke outboard motors are available for each 2 fishermen.
